Jesse James Riding Stables is located in Cave City, KY, and offers a wide variety of services, such as horseback riding, cave tours, mini golf, kids rides, cave city events, and more. Founded in 1970, Jesse James Riding Stables has been serving the Kentucky area for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide quality and safe horseback riding experiences, while also offering fun and educational activities for children and adults alike. We are dedicated to making sure our clients have a great time and are safe while enjoying the outdoors. Our kid-friendly horseback riding adventures and captivating cave tours are specially designed to cater to young explorers and their families. We strive to create an unforgettable day packed with fun, learning, and excitement. Join us and see why locals and visitors alike rave about our unique blend of adventure and hospitality.
Our Services include:
- Horseback Riding: $32 per person, anyone aged 6 and up can enjoy riding. Little ones aged 2 to 5 can join the adventure by riding doubles with an adult for an extra $5. Please note the weight limit is 250 lbs. Perfect for family outings or a fun day with friends—create lasting memories on horseback.
- Cave Tours: Discover the mysteries of Outlaw Cave with our guided tours! For only $9, adults 12 and up can explore the cave's fascinating formations. Children aged 6 to 11 join the adventure for $6, while little ones 5 and under tour for free. Perfect for family outings and history buffs, our cave tours offer an exciting glimpse into the past and a memorable experience for all ages.
- Mini Golf: Enjoy a fun-filled day at our mini golf course, perfect for all ages! Adults 12 and up can play for just $6, while children aged 6 to 11 putt around for $5. Kids under 5 practice their swing for free! Gather family and friends for a delightful round of mini golf and make memories with every stroke on our creatively designed course.

We did the horseback riding, mini golf, and cave! It was all great. We have boys 3, 6, and 10. Everyone was so nice and helpful! Loved it! Andrea and Bri were great on the horses helping us.

Jesse James Riding Stable
Our family visited this place because we have a 7-year-old who wanted to ride horses. That is, until we pulled in and she got a big case of the nerves. The lady at the register was so kind and pulled aside Ashley and explained our daughter's nerves. They immediately came up with a plan as to what horse would best fit. When we got to the stables, they organized us into a line and had us placed on horses quickly. As we got placed in the field with the horses, a kind lady took photos. When it was time, the horses began walking; they knew what to do. Ashley was so kind and rode by my daughter, talking to her and getting her comfortable. The ride was relaxed, and the property was beautiful. You are not micromanaged; the workers rode their horses around the line and checked on everyone. At one point, my horse stopped completely; I couldn't figure out why, then my saddle started to slide. Mark gave me simple directions to prevent the saddle from falling more until Ashley was able to come up and help me reposition it. Both my kids loved the experience! They are priced well, too, and have a lot of other things to offer as well.
